Outside Activity

Help the Animals while it is HOT!
Have you ever seen a bird take a birdbath? Or noticed how animals are always drinking from puddles of water? Sometimes it gets so hot that everything is dry and the animals suffer. Be creative and create a place in your yard or on your porch where animals can come get a refreshing drink of water. Use something recycled, like cutting the bottom of a milk jug or an old pie pan. Hang it where they feel safe. Hide it under some shade so the water stays cooler. Fill the pie pan with small rocks so it looks more natural to the birds.

I cannot wait to see your photos of what you create! If you can, take a photo of a bird enjoying your watering station!
